ARTESIA, CA – On Monday, July 14, the Artesia City Council proudly honored the recipients of the 2025 City of Artesia Scholarship Program during its regular City Council meeting. This annual program is designed to provide financial assistance and recognize high school seniors who reside in Artesia and have demonstrated academic dedication, leadership, and an outstanding commitment to community service.
The City of Artesia Scholarship Program supports students pursuing higher education at universities and community colleges, as well as those advancing their careers through vocational training. A key factor in the selection process is each student's contributions to the community. Many of this year’s awardees have served both locally and internationally, showcasing their passion for service and leadership. These students have grown up in Artesia, left a meaningful mark on the community, and are now preparing to make a difference in the world.
The City extends sincere appreciation to the 2025 scholarship sponsors whose generosity made this program possible:
• The Woman’s Club of Artesia-Cerritos
• Calvary Chapel of Artesia
• The Artesia Chamber of Commerce
• The Boy Scouts of America
