The City of Artesia is offering a Residents Academy Program designed to inform the community about the functions of their City, the services offered, and the opportunities available to get involved. The next presentation will be held in July (date to be announced). The presentation will be on Community Preservation (Code Enforcement), and will provide an overview of municipal codes and regulations established to provide Artesia residents the best quality of life.
The Residents Academy Program consists of four quarterly presentations offering a variety of topics, with one topic held each quarter. Presentations begin at 6 p.m. and have a duration of approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours. The final presentation of this series is scheduled to be held in October, and will cover the topic of Maintenance and Sustainability.
The Academy presentations are held at the City Council Chambers, located at 18747 Clarkdale Avenue. Registration is required. A participant can register for the upcoming presentation, or the remaining two presentations of the series. Dates and location will be confirmed with those registered, as the presentations near.
(Please note that based on the number of registrations received, the City may change the dates or location of the presentations. The City will only provide notice of changes to registered participants).
